In recent months I have been kicking myself for the lack of not shooting enough behind the scenes footage. Lucky enough on my latest music video endeavour, SABC 3’s Top Billing came in and carried out a behind the scenes at the making of the music video. Top Billing is one of South Africa’s longest running lifestyle programme and has been broadcasting since 1996.
The crew was only due to arrive in the afternoon and much of the preparation was due to be done so we shot some of the set build process. Originating from South Africa myself, it was really cool to have my work shown on home soil so my mum could watch. It’s a tad bit cheesy but hey, that’s broadcast television for you.
