For the past few months I have been standing on the fence of the DSLR video shootout between Canon and Nikon and finally Nikon have stepped up their game with a couple new additions to their range of pro and consumer camera models. The D4 looks incredible for video but personally it’s a little big for my liking and for the price you could get something more video orientated. The D800 again looks incredible but that 36 million mega pixel senser might not be so great in low light. Thus I have opted to go for the D600 model.
It’s a definite step up from my current set up which is the Canon 7D. The main advantage being that I can if need be get a hdmi feed out the camera and record to something like the Atomos Ninja.
